Sam retired from the Armed Forces after 24 years service having worked in various roles during his career. Sam’s last position in the Armed Forces was as a Regimental Sergeant Major, teaching potential officers at several universities about leadership, man-management as well as military skills prior to them joining the Armed Forces.

Sam has worked as a Health and Safety and Facilities Manager both in the UK and during Operations Overseas and is qualified in National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH). Sam is also a member of Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH), and the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). He has recently passed NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management modules and hopes to further advance his knowledge on the subject by qualifying for a Diploma in the near future.
